We are Bioen

Bioen is a global waste management venture offering technologies for converting waste to energy/ value added products and has worked towards providing hygienic and eco-friendly technologies to societies, municipalities and corporate sector.

Technologies provided by Bioen not only focuses on waste disposal but also provide renewable energy (day to day consumption) and other value added products from urban solid waste and agro-residues.

With more than 10 years of expertise in the field of anaerobic digestion (biogas) from India’s premier institute (IISc), we are equipped with the state of the art biomethanation technology and manufacturing set-up to successfully treat solid waste.

We believe in treating solid waste at the ‘source level’ and have successfully implemented biomethanation technologies in India, Maldives and Africa thereby contributing our bit towards cleaner planet by mitigating green house gases. We consider solid waste as an integral source to bridge the gap between future energy demand and supply. Our R&D team has developed multiple value added products from solid waste through anaerobic digestion route to make the overall biomethanation process more economically viable and sustainable.

Vision & Mission

Our vision is to create a greener planet by capturing green house gas emitted from solid waste through innovative treatment techniques thereby addressing two major problems of today’s world under one roof
1. Issues of solid waste management
2. Dependency on fossil fuel-replacing fossil fuel with renewable energy
In doing so we believe to be recognized as leaders in the waste management sector.
